This year will be the 5 time that I've taken part in Race For Life but this has a more personal reason for me.

In January this year, I was diagnosed with melanoma. Fortunately for me though, it was caught early enough and has been removed and so far, it looks like it might have just been that one spot.

But the same can't be said for everyone. That's why I'm asking you to sponsor me and help beat cancer.

£10 will buy 300 glass slides allowing scientists to study cells under the microscope.

£123 will fund a cancer information nurse for one day. But cancer isn't a one day thing. It can and does effect people their whole lives.
