Stobocross Crane

The Stobocross Crane (also known as the Finnieston Crane) on the banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow. It's primary purpose was the lifting of heavy machinery, mainly steam locomotives that were built in nearby Springburn onto ships for export.

It is one of 4 remaining giant cantilever cranes along the river and is listed as a Category A listed structure (that is, "buildings of national or international importance, either architectural or historic, or fine little-altered examples of some particular period, style or building type.")
